Our Vision
I started this practice because I know what it feels like to move through life feeling disconnected from your body, overwhelmed by anxiety, or weighed down by past trauma. Throughout my professional journey, I discovered that combining cognitive therapies with somatic and movement-based practices helps people heal on a deeper level.
Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals who felt stuck, numb, and held back by pain they couldn’t name.
Together, we used EMDR to process trauma, CBT to shift limiting beliefs, and somatic exercises to release what their bodies were holding onto. I’ve witnessed transformation that goes beyond symptom relief – to self-trust, peace, and confidence.

I created GoodFit Counseling to be a safe, modern, and culturally affirming space, especially for women of color and BIPOC communities
